Climate protection concerns us all

Already Hildegard of Bingen recognized the power that humans have. Although he is small in stature, he is capable of much when he opens his heart to the workings of God. However, if humans disregard the order of creation, it turns against them in natural disasters.

Whether this actually depends on faith in God is something each person must decide for themselves, but the fact is that our Earth, as we know it, is threatened.

If each of us does not sustainably change our behaviors, the damage will be felt even more strongly by us and all future generations.

Reasons for climate change are numerous and no longer debatable. We can already experience the first effects of the change: glacier melt, rising sea levels, flooding and lack of precipitation, more frequent and intense wildfires.

Each of us can contribute something to stop the process.

A small contribution to environmental protection

In the area of Südharz-Hayn, 5,000 trees are being planted on our behalf. The area has been severely damaged by forest fires, storm, and bark beetle damage. “PLANT-MY-TREE®” plans to plant 15,000 new trees in this area. A mixed forest of red oak, Douglas fir, coastal fir, giant sequoias, hemlocks, and giant arborvitae will be created there.
